Some projects stay with you long after the tools are packed away, and this was one of them. On our recent trip to Queenstown, we had the privilege of tuning a truly special machine: a Lamborghini-derived, V10-powered Audi RS6. Even by performance-car standards, this one stood out.
From the factory, the C6-generation RS6 is a powerhouse; a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V10 sharing DNA with Lamborghini’s finest. But like most production engines, it arrives with conservative ECU software designed to meet global emissions and fuel-grade targets. Our mission was to let that engine breathe and the results were spectacular.

With our Audi RS6 performance tune, power increased by an impressive **+75 horsepower and +120 Nm of torque**, but figures only tell part of the story. On the road, the difference is immediate, throttle response is sharper, torque delivery more decisive, and acceleration utterly relentless.

This RS6 ECU remap included a full software read and detailed recalibration of fuelling, boost control, and torque management. We refined the relationship between throttle input and requested torque to make the car more responsive while maintaining perfect drivability.
The result is an engine that feels alive yet disciplined; power arrives instantly but remains smooth and progressive. The torque curve is broader, stronger, and more linear across the rev range, exactly how the RS6 should have left the factory.
