Cars are often detuned, so a manufacturer can offer many models based on the same engine and calibrated to meet regulations and other constraints. And that is where ECU tuning comes in. ECU stands for Engine Control Unit, and ECU tuning is essentially a service that allows you, the driver, to get the most out of your vehicle as we are able to overcome the limitations imposed by the manufacturer’s calibration. Continuing with the theme of fixing things we diagnosed a fault with the manifold pressure sensor on the C63 we had in for tuning, as we happened to be picking up a customers car at Mercedes Benz we were in this case able to pick up the part and fit it without delay and our customer was very grateful.
